This was originally developed for a client that was involved with a Mexican coal mine. Turns out there was no google map detail south of the border at the time*, so some system of google map annotation was needed. To get a sense of how the annotations are created, take a minute and experiment with the controls above. The source is commented and available for download.

*There IS some detail south of the border now, but I left in the city and border annotations that I created just for reference.
